Confidence
Olivia Needs to Boost Her Confidence
Like many kids her age, 5 year-old Olivia is shy.
She struggles with speaking to people she doesn’t know and whilst she’s very comfortable at home and with her friends, she doesn’t have the courage yet to speak up in school and is often very quiet and anxious in unfamiliar places.
Olivia’s mum drops Olivia off on her first day at a Saturday morning Early Stages class. She’s very nervous and doesn’t want her mum to leave. The Principal of the school introduces themself to both mum and Olivia and asks another Early Stages student, Maisie, to come and help Olivia settle in.
