For older students looking for a more challenging and inspiring experience, Further Stages offers the chance to collaborate and perform as part of their own theatre company. These three-hour weekly sessions refine skills in singing, dancing, and acting, preparing students for the future, whether in the performing arts or beyond.

What do they learn at Further Stages?
At Further Stages level, students can expect to be developing their skills in:
Singing skills
Singing with an emphasis on performing with confidence, accuracy and in a range of styles, plus learning how to employ facial and body gestures to pieces performed
Dancing skills
Dancing with accuracy and attention to detail as well as developing core strength and challenging repertoire
Acting skills
Acting for different media/text with confidence. Students at this level are also able to adapt character and take on other roles in theatre arts e.g. directing, staging etc.

That’s not all though as our students develop key life skills at Further Stages, including:
School terms
Terms are approximately 12 weeks long and split into Autumn, Winter and Summer (following mainstream school terms) with breaks over the holidays.
Three-hour classes
Furthers Stages classes consist of a three-hour session each week in term-time with time dedicated to each performing arts discipline of singing, dancing and acting.
Two-Week Trial
A Further Stages Two-Week Trial costs £50. If you decide to continue with the term past the Two-Week Trial, the trial fee already paid will be deducted from your first term’s total fee. The Two-Week Trial must be taken within the first four weeks of a Stagecoach term and the two weeks must be consecutive.
Termly Fee
The termly fee for Further Stages is £360 which can be paid in a few different ways, speak to your local Stagecoach school Principal for their payment options.
